Alex Kang
President and CEO
Mr. Alex Kang founded Advanced Financial Technologies in July 1999 and has successfully managed its growth as a solutions provider. He formulated the business concept in early 1999, raised the necessary seed capital, and put together a talented team for developing his business plan. Its growth was accelerated with equity financing provided by several prominent San Jose venture capital firms. Mr. Kang guided Advanced Financial Technologies to be the leading on-line transactions platform providing services to the mortgage and auto loan lending institutions. Advanced Financial Technologies business is focused on vendors connectivity, automated loan approval, loan optimization, and accurate loan pricing based on the lender's guidelines. Currently he oversees all activities at Advanced Financial Technologies and consults on credit bureau platform issues for both domestic and Korean-owned finance companies.

Mr. Kang was a founder and president of SMC Mortgage, Inc. based in San Diego, CA, which became a very successful and well respected mortgage company. His experience with SMC and his observation of the lack of sophisticated software in the mortgage business prompted him to found InterData. InterData developed default prediction software for high LTV products and mitigation loss as well as direct connectivity to credit depositories. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley.

Bill Barham
Vice President of Credit Policy/Underwriting Development
Mr. Bill Barham joined Advanced Financial Technologies in May 2006 AFTer four years of service as a Senior Contract Underwriter with industry leader MGIC. With over 15 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry Mr. Barham brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Credit Policy and Underwriting Development implementation. He has held various Credit Policy positions that include Underwriting Manager at Nationwide Funding Group and Senior Underwriter-Credit Policy Department at GMAC/Ditech.com. Mr. Barham is currently responsible for managing Advanced Financial Technologies Credit Policy department which develops and implements underwriting AU Rules for new and existing clients.

Chuck Liu
CTO, Head Architect
Mr. Chuck Liu has more than 20 years in software development experience in enterprise application projects and component framework projects, including more than 7 years of leadership, management, and software architecture experience. He has a significant number of papers published in international conferences including: "A Prototype Decision Support System Applied in Manufacturing? The Feasibility Proposals of Voice Recognition? The General Structure and Materialization of Knowledge Databases? and The Backward Reasoning of Rule-Based Decision Support Systems." He was a head software architect at Genops Bioinformatrices Inc. and Cutting Edge Solutions Inc. Before climbing to the head architect position, he was a researcher, developer, and teacher at Electric Power Research Institute and North China University of Technology for three years. He holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.
